Simple Tomato Sauce for Pasta Dishes

Julie on April 12, 2011

Pasta is one of those foods you can prepare very quickly. If you have small frozen portions of a simple tomato sauce in the freezer, you can prepare a great meal in next to no time.

This is one of my favourite soup recipes. Not too many calories in the soup (only use a minimum amount of cheese on the baguette if you’re watching your weight), and the taste is outstanding. You can make this soup in less than an hour and it freezes well. It’s great as a starter, lunch or a warming supper dish in the winter.

A Quick Winter Chickpea Salad Recipe

Cathy on February 27, 2011

Tweet This is a lovely winter salad that makes great use of leftovers from a veggie roast. I still had a whole lot of chickpeas leftover from my last attempt at cooking dry chickpeas and had done a big veggie roast the night before (something I recommend doing weekly just so I can have roast [...]
